Bosc-isms are terms that may or may not come up during a Bosc lecture. This is a valuable resource tool as there will be numerous times in which you will be completely lost as to the meaning of such terms. No worries, they are real words with real meanings, and he is not making them up.
emerging ruptures: This refers to growing conflicts, disagreements, distances, and differences between peoples, ideas, and even ways of life in the course of history
Cakalacky: Literaly refers to "Carolina," i.e. North Carolina (birth state of your teacher) would be North Cackalacky.
P.O.ed: In his (Bosc's) effort not to sound too vulgar this term refers to being sorely upset.
dough: money, currency, dinero
mediocre: work that lacks creativity and yet is sufficient to pass. Bosc's most used adjective that he doesn't like to use.
