France is the world's number one tourist destination, welcoming over 8 million more visitors each year than the second most popular destination, the United States. Wouldn't it be nice to speak the language when you get there?

Largely as a result of the Norman (French) conquest of the Anglo-Saxons (English) in 1066, approximately 40% of English words are of French origin. Can you say "SAT preparation"? (BTW, "preparation" is one of those French words, as is just about every other word you know that ends in -tion.)
